I am honoured to congratulate my readers with the 25th anniversary of All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.
This is a huge, meaningful day for all of us – believers, agnostics and non-believers.
The world is complicated and unstable, faith is motivation for people to keep working, caring about their families, being innovative and creative.
Harmony between technical capacity and spiritual growth is one of the most important values in the 21st century.
Ukraine is a powerful and rapidly developing country, so religious rights are protected by the Consitution. Religious organizations connect with universities, businesses and households, and the most progressive ones understand their social responsibility and commitment.
People in Ukraine opt for religious freedom and diversity, they engage actively into social and cultural projects, support various spiritual schools, without challenging fundamental science.
I strongly believe that religion is one of the easiest ways to understand people and their value system, to overcome social crises and keep one’s mind uplifted.
I hope religion and fundamental science will be combined in people’s minds, so that people of my generation and reference group could feel successful in the material world and free to follow their spiritual path.
Religious tolerance and diversity are key values that correspond with welfare of the country.
