I bumped into you on a sunny day,
It was not too far away from a subway station,
At first I thought you were more than OK,
With your look that seemed to be
From another dimension.
Too close to the highest mountains,
Too far from the hardest beliefs,
Too clear, like the bluest fountains,
You brought me a kind of relief.
I part with you on a winter day,
Hopefully it’s not forever,
The night is full of sadness and dismay,
And the darkness looks so clever.
I touch my feathers,
Although some of them seem to be broken,
I pull the tether
And I keep living with eyes wide open.
Too close to the highest mountains,
Too far from the hardest beliefs,
Too clear, like the bluest fountains,
You brought me a kind of relief.
I feel this tension
In our messages not sent on time.
But my intention
Is more than being dressed ‘to the nines’
