Oh, your clarity and greatness are endless,
The sanctity of yours has no boundaries,
As you are the mother of stars and hills,
The centre of several elements…
Oh Mahamata, the shining aspect of Lakshmi!
Your look is like a constellasion,
Your mysterious veil reeks of tulasi,
And your tenderness covers the whole world.
With gratitude people approach you,
Burning incense sticks during a meditation,
And their chants are long and poetic.
Mahamata, the Great Mother of the Universe!
Through deep meditation you open up
The mysteries of our world,
And you are the caring aspect of femininity,
So as a thoughtful caregiver you ensure we have all it takes
For wisdom and prosperity.
Mahamata, a light of cosmic combinations,
A faraway galaxy where you reside,
A long story of ancient anthems and new times,
A golden lock of a summer field –
You personify the innate growth
And you are the one who also cares about crops,
Not only about people.
Gratitude and wellness
We feel under your luxurious golden veil
Of knowledge and inspiration,
Oh Mahamata,
The most caring, selfless page
In an epic Lakshmi hagiography.
